X-TRACT POWER DC-DC VOLTAGE CONVERTER

The expanded range of X-TRACT DC-DC voltage converters take a DC input and transform it into an isolated/non-isolated output voltage either higher, lower than the input voltage or the same as the input whilst maintaining the output constant despite a varying input voltage. The X-TRACT is available with different input/output configurations at various power levels. High frequency switched mode techniques are used to give a very high conversion efficiency and this results in a low internal heat generation within the unit. The 24 volt to 12 volt converters are primary used to provide: a) a battery charging source for 12 volt battery systems; b) a suitable 12 volt supply for ancilliary/service equipment; or c) as a constant voltage source for 12 volt voltage sensitive equipment when the only voltage available is 24 volts. The other converters are used when either a 24 volt supply is required from a 12 volt input or where the supply needs to be separated due to noise restraints i.e on 24 volt - 24 volt converters. Like the majority of our equipment it has been designed and manufactured in Britain and is not a grey import.

Versions that convert 48 volt to 12 volt are available in 2 power ratings: 6A, & 9A.
The 12 volt output versions have a standard output voltage of 13.6 volts.
Versions that convert 12 volt to 24 volt are available in 2 power ratings: 7A, & 10A with a standard output voltage of 27.2 volts.
