The X-TRACT is a DC-DC voltage converter which takes a DC input and transforms it into an isolated output voltage. High frequency switched mode techniques are used to give very high conversion efficiency and this results in a low heat generation within the unit. Its primary use is to provide a charging source for systems where the domestic equipment is 12 volts but the main engine charging source is 24 volts or a constant voltage source for voltage sensitive equipment.
