X-SPLIT APPLICATION No.3

Application showing how three separate charging systems can be isolated from each other and used to charge individual batteries.  Each charging source will charge both batteries contributing to the total charge available. In this application the charging source with the highest voltage will be master and like all the applications the charge state of each battery bank will determine the percentage charge taken by each battery bank. This is a rarely used option as charging sources can readily be connected in parallel (providing each charge source has its own voltage controller) either at the input of the X-SPLIT or direct to the individual battery terminals. The system can be easily extended to three or four battery banks simply by changing the X-SPLIT with a version that has the requisite number of outputs. If the configuration is of such a nature that there is not a X-SPLIT available to meet the requirement the X-SPLIT can be wired in series or parallel to obtain the special configuration and still offer a better system them simple diode splitters.
