X-PORT+ APPLICATION No.1

Application shows a 2 channel control plus 3 output X-PORT+ charge controller. The charge controller is used inconjunction with two alternators and 3 separate battery banks to provide a complete intelligent alternator charging system. The battery banks can consist of a number of batteries in parallel to increase the capacity of the relevant battery bank. The X-PORT+ is ideal for use in systems where the charging currents are between 90 Amps and 150 Amps or where the charging current is going to be at maximum for a high percentage of the time.. For currents below these values then the X-SPLIT and X-ALT range will be a lower cost option. For applications requiring the use of a stand alone alternator boost charge controller in conjunction with the standard X-PORT or X-SPLIT look at the application notes associated with the X-ALT or X-PORT.
