X-CISE APPLICATION 1

This application shows an X-CISE monitoring an installation comprising of a single battery, the relay is being used to switch off the non essential circuits in the event of a low voltage being detected, whilst the essential circuits remain permanently powered. The X-CISE is powered from the battery but the sense leads are separate even though they are connected in this instance to the same battery. By utilizing separate sense leads it allows the X-CISE to monitor a separate auxiliary battery from the supply battery. The isolation relay is always operated by the supply battery not the auxiliary sensed battery if this is the intended installation method.
