X-CISE APPLICATION 2

This application shows an X-CISE monitoring an installation comprising of a single battery bank feeding a DC-AC Power Inverter. The X-CISE in this instance is being used to switch off 3 AC circuits as a means of saving DC power from the battery. The switch off levels are predefined and can either be instantaneous or with a set time before switch off. In applications recently installed the first two levels have been instantaneous with an audio buzzer sounding before the third and final level is reached. The third level can either be instantaneous or with a delay. The same type of installation can also be used to switch the 12v/24v output from the battery where a multi-stage switch off sequence is required. Reset of each level can be predetermined or only actuated by a master reset when the sensed battery voltage exceeds the reset level.
 
 

The circuit is an example how such a system would be implemented, full wiring instructions are generated applicable to each installation. The voltage switch off - on levels are set as requested and agreed with our technical group who would be pleased to offer advice if required. We can offer suitable relays for each application however if you wish to use your own relays please consult with our technical group as to their suitability.
