The Combi combines a powerful pure sine wave inverter, a sophisticated battery charger (with adaptive charge technology), a solar panel regulator and a high speed AC transfer switch all integrated into a single compact enclosure. The pure sine wave output of the Combi means it will safely power all types of equipment ranging from microwave ovens to laptops, flatscreen televisions etc. In the event of primary AC power (i.e. shore power) being disrupted the inverter is automatically activated in less than 20 milliseconds and takes over the supply to the loads allowing them to continue to operate without disruption (providing the connected battery is adequately charged and the power requirement does not exceed the inverter rating). Another important feature is that whilst on shore power or other primary AC power automatic power sharing is used to reduce the battery charger power when other loads are in use, thus preventing unecessary shoreline or other primary power trips.
