X-CELL DC-AC INVERTER

The well proven X-CELL standard range of inverters (nearly 4200 sold world wide) convert low voltage DC, 12 or 24, into a quasi sine wave AC voltage of 110v, 115v, 220v, 230v 50/60 Hz. The standard units coupled with the remote option allows operation by local/remote switching. A choice of purpose designed remote control units are available for use with the X-CELL inverters see below. This range of inverters is an ideal low cost alternative for feeding resistive types of load where the extra cost of a pure sinewave inverter is not required. The units have a special circuit incorporated for use with microwave ovens and fluorescent tubes. Being a quasi sinewave output (like all other quasi sinewave inverters) are not suitable for use with tools or equipment that utilizes electronic speed control; if speed control is important then a pure sinewave inverter will be required ( X-CELLmk2 sinewave inverter). The output of the X-CELL is via a torroidal transformer which means that the AC output is isolated from the low voltage DC input.

The purpose designed remote control units are supplied ready to install with the X-CELL range of inverters fitted with the remote option. They provide indication of; power on, overload warning, low battery voltage and a means of switching the unit on/off remotely allowing the inverter to be positioned out of sight. The De-Luxe version incorporates the above features plus a remote 13 Amp socket. The standard remote is fitted with a lead length of 6 metres, the De-Luxe unit with a lead length of 2 metres, other lengths to special order please contact sales department for availability and prices.
