X-ACT POWER VOLTAGE REGULATOR

The X-ACT ramge of power voltage regulators are used for providing a stabilized DC voltage supply for voltage sensitive equipment. The supply can be a battery, an unstable dc source, battery charger or an alternator for which purpose an alternator transient spike suppression circuit is fitted as standard on certain models. The 5 Amp unit has been developed for use with the new flat LCD screen televisions where the normal alternator output voltage at 13.8 and above is detrimental to the electronics in the unit. The 15 Amp & 25 Amp units have been developed for use with the ever increasing demand for a stabilized supply for use with sensitive electronic equipment, which does not require the current capability of the higher powered units. The 50 Amp & 100 Amp unit has been specially developed for providing a constant voltage source for Halogen lighting systems, by supplying a constant spike free voltage the life of the bulbs can be  increased. The X-ACT 50 Amp & 110 Amp can also be used where a constant voltage source is required for other equipment such as radar and certain types of heating systems that have a maximum voltage limitation.
