The 'GENIE' system consists of a high output alternator plus a separate intelligent battery management controller. The control unit incorporates a powerful microcontroller for 'REAL TIME CONTROL' of all aspects of alternator charging (unlike other types of alternator charge controllers which may only control the boost charge). It is capable of monitoring and controlling the alternator charging of up to three separate battery banks when used in conjunction with a 3 way permanent charge splitter like our X-SPLIT or the X-PORT. Whilst primarily designed for multi battery banks the GENIE can be used on a single or dual battery bank system with the addition of a single point temperature compensated control option. The control unit incorporates a proportional incremental boost charge routine plus safety alarm strategies for safe operation. When used in conjunction with our range of charge splitters the X-SPLIT
