Notes
ALTERNATOR 2 & 3 Output 12 volts, 40 Amps @ 2000 rpm, 90 Amps @ 5000 rpm.
ALTERNATOR 2 & 3 are isolated -Ve, B- or negative output return and need a fully rated negative return connection.
Shaft details, ALTERNATOR 2 :- 17 mm, Alternator 3, :- 0.625".
Mounting details, ALTERNATOR 2 :- 2" single lug, 10 mm 180' single ear M8.
Mounting details, ALTERNATOR 3,:- 1" single lug, 0.5" Mounting, 180' single ear.
Mounting details, ALTERNATOR 1A,:- 1" single lug, 0.5" Mounting, 180' single ear.
The Alternator Alt2 has been retrofitted to the Volvo Penta and Nanni series of engines and has a similar footprint to the Paris Rhone/Ducellier/Motorola/S.E.V.Marchal / Valeo alternators fitted as standard.
These alternators are negative controlled alternators and can be easily modified for use with our intelligent alternator charge controllers.
Useful Information. If Alt1A is used to replace old alternators on BUKH engines a small modofication will be required. A 20mm packing spacer is required for the top mount, to line up the belts a small sleeve allows the use of a 10mm clamp bolt so no drilling or tapping is required.(Our thanks go to Mr. D.
